By default, the Mac OS does not show remaining battery capacity in percentage as a number. Clicking on the battery icon and selecting Battery Preferences offers no way of enabling battery percentage.

This is how to do it.

1. Open System Preferences, Dock & Menu bar.
2. Find Battery under Other Modules.
3. Check “Show Percentage”.
